We live at the foot of El Torcal, and it is the question we are asked most: how to visit, which route to choose, where to eat and what else there is nearby. We have gathered here what we tell our guests every day, with details checked in October 2026.
Villanueva de la Concepción sits on the southern side of El Torcal. From our apartments it is a 12-minute drive to the Visitor Centre, 22 minutes to Antequera and 45 minutes to Málaga and the beach.
